Inconclusive I'd say. From that angle you'd have to say no it didn't look like a penalty. However it is impossible to see if the defender is pulling the attackers shirt or holding his arm & the referee would'be had a better angle than where the camera is.
I would say nop it appears both players are locking arms rangers player obviously gets out of the way of his keeper and the united player was not realy trying to go around so play on good old Decani stuffing up again
The reason there is not a bigger up roar about this is that it really didnt matter. Now on the other hand if this was against Dev or Prospect and constituted a result in a game with how close the league is, we may have a problem ? question is though how do we fix it ???
Already had one when knights were denied against rangers could have changed the result. A stupid post really sh?? happens and its all part of the game.
you dont NEED to discuss this, that is up to you, and by doing so you obviously have the need. Its just an opportunity to generate some chat. If you dont like what I contribute, ignor it and move on to the next post, or you could send Nick your details and help us out. Either way I will continue.
No Penalty - defender played it well, protecting the ball waiting for his keeper to collect. Shocking decision by a ref that should have called it quits 20 years ago...he couldn't ref then, and he is worse now....he was at the centre of some recent controversy at the Burnie v Taroona S/wide cup fixture for giving his lineman an public dressing down about the off side rules.
How could it be
