  1. Launceston have not improved at all in the two years since Egan took over. They looked promising at the start of the year but honestly what is he teaching those boys. That offside trap is absolute rubbish and thats putting it lightly. A cricket score if the linesman understood passive offside. Knights will smash them with Sessay. Some talented boys but they're going nowhere.
From what i've seen this year Rangers don't deserve to win the league. They've been lucky a number of times this year but they can't score goals and their defence is slow. Make a mistake passing out and Luck and co. can't cover quick enough. Some of their players look unmotivated at the moment too.

  2. Depends what you call luck. Only game they haven't won in the last 10 rounds was decided by a slip against Dev. Unlucky? Late goals have won recent games but they were on top and chasing the win in those game.Luck? Knights have got late winners twice v Somerset. Luck or deserved? Agree they can't finish though. Ambrose and Jago only started 6 -7 games between them. Unmotivated? We'll see. Slow? Luck v Balym/Wilson in a race will decide that!

  4. The skinny guy who played in centre defense for Rangers last year, and complimented Luck well with his pace, seems out of favour this year, has played ressies whenever I have seen Rangers

  5. Wouldn't say lonnie havent improved, they have just dropped off the pace, as the results haven't quite come and now the blow outs occur as the interest wanes. Maybe they should start training after Xmas like everyone else and they will be OK. All the November running starting to take its toll.

  6. We all know when the the big games come Rangers will be up for it. They've already beaten Knights 3 times this season, the only competitive games Knights have lost. They lost to Devonport first time around in what was an even game, and will be every chance of beating them next time they meet.

All that said Devonport for the title in my books

  7. wasn't at the game but from these highlights rangers look pretty motivated anon 13:28. they are all over lonnie and look to be running really hard. Agree they have trouble putting the ball in the net though. should have scored twice the number of goals they did by the look

  8. Rangers need to practice using the ball at training instead of constant running. no wonder they are losing motivation

ambrose started one game and off bench first 3 games! doesnt score a lot of goals but would thrive with rangers style of play!

guarantee rangers use the ball at training, even preseason there was barely any running without the ball!!

  16. RUNNING with a ball is different from tactikal and teknical training thats what we need

  19. I hope the one that is commenting on the Rangers training method is from Devonport because I believe Rangers and Devonport has been at a level higher than the other clubs in this few years. (We will respect their constructive critism) But for the other clubs, you are better of commenting or provide a constructive criticism on your own club training methods. So that we could bring the game in Tassie a notch higher.

  20. clearly rangers play the most attractive football in the north, no long ball after long ball here!! how bout you guys worry about your own training and let us do our thing!
    anon 15:23...spell check cobba!!

  21. 15:23 clearly not a ranger, just a stirrer! a number of boys from Hobart who have trained with rangers this year just for some quality training says it all, as does their style of play

  22. Constant Mud flicking at teams leading the pack, grow up and find something better to do, no doubt the guy who cant spell did it on purpose to look like a ranger behind an anon profile to try and get the rest of you to have another dig, probably the same one person who just keeps slagging the leaders because his or her club is going poorly.
