Firstly, we were poor in the opening 20, no excuses and the boys can lick their wounds as a result. I cant speak for everybody, and didnt have the honour of playing this week, but I can tell you, if there was one game that I was not looking forward too all year, it was City at City, we have only had our own way there once in all our history, and only won there four times I believe, I can remember twice when we were at least 2 or 3 down before we could blink and had to come back from the brink, it didnt happen this weekend, and congrats to them, they were hungrier and better and it showed in their celebrations, which highlight the great pride they still have after all these years of struggle. That sort of attitude will ensure they always bounce back, this is starting to happen. Under rate them at your peril.
Well said Donk. I remember playing against you lot in 08 or 09 when we were 3 nil up after 30 mins and we lost 4-3 at Mitsubishi Park. Not to mention the 6-5(?) result in your favour on our bottom ground.
From these highlights rangers looked slow and lazy for those 4 goals. Think you guys went into it thinking you had won the league already.
ReplyDeleteBit Dubious on the last penalty, looked like he was looked for contact and left his foot out. Contact was there though, silly tackle
pfft... the first was more questionable!
Deleteand... ill leave my foot where ever i want buddy
