Interesting ladder !
ReplyDeleteWould suggest the closest year in a good 10 years !
I have some probing questions:
1. Have Knights/Ulverstone over acheived so far ?
2. Have Riverside under acheived ?
3. Lton City seems to be on the improve?
4. Can Lton win a game and how many years till we wait?
If we do have a state League with say 4 sides from the NPL who should it be ?
I'd suggest it will be 5 from the NPL & 5 from the SPL....in no specific order, Devonport, City, Rangers, Ulvie, Knights, Sth Hobart, Tilford Zebras, Clarence, Glenorchy Knights, Kingborough....ladder positions will count for zilch. fft will insist on those applying for state league licenses will need to meet certain benchmarks, one of which will be financial, which may preclude some of the other clubs not mentioned.
ReplyDeletelooks to me like some drivel written by someone from lton city.also in point 3 when you make a statement you dont use a question mark.
ReplyDeleteUlverstone for State League? Are you serious? I'd say highly unlikely. River would be more likely, only if their changerooms had a major upgrade!
ReplyDeleteagree with number 3 that it will be five and not based on ladder posistion more on who can meet fft requirements on facilities and financial. 3 from the north and 2 from north west those being city, rangers, knights, and dev from north west with either somerset or burnie only burnie because of there new sponsor set up with sports and events giving them the financial back
ReplyDeletewhy not Ulverstone for state league? anon 23:30
