    1. Sometimes when two of the best teams play against each other, both teams look poor! They almost cancel each other out. I can guarantee that had these two teams played the way they did against most other teams in the competition...they would have looked pretty good, and would have got a result! It was a very tight game, and played in great spirit!

As for the T-league, Pride/work ethic/loyalty etc. will be the main attributes for the Rangers IF we make the T-league. We have seen what happens to certain clubs when they splash the money around!

Lastly...congratulations, you got a bite out of me! I would recommend you grow a sack and actually put your name to your comments next time, as it is ridiculously pathetic!

Good luck to the rest of the teams this year, and let's do our very best to knock out our southern rivals in the final series this year!

      :) Gabriel Tams, NRFC!

  5. Would have been a better spectacle if they didnt have to play on that pathetic excuse of a pitch. Its a disgrace!!

    1. We can apologise for the wicket, but it was wet, it rained all week nothing anyone could do, at least 80% of the ground was in relatively good nick, we would prefer not to have a cricket pitch in the middle too, and next year it wont be an issue, we will still try and play on number one, but if it gets to Saturdays condition, we will move games to one of the new pitches, which are sand based and will be sensational. Like nick said, no excuses, both teams had to deal with it, and if thats the only thing you could pick wrong with the day, you are a sad individual. Try being positive, you would be supprised how well it works...

    2. I would hope that Rangers won't play with that horrible mess in the middle next year, new pitches do look fantastic, cannot imagine FFT allowing T League on the main pitch if it is like that.
It is without doubt the biggest home advantage since South Launceston's famous hill !

    3. Chance didn't you read Capt Oz comments. If no.1 is OK they will play there, as the ground has better viewing facilities.

If the ground gets to wet and boggy then they will move to one of the back grounds

    4. i dont understand the big deal about the pitch, yeah it was bad in the middle, but both teams had to deal with that. the rangers vs knights game at prospect a few weeks ago was loads worse. at least it was only the middle this time. a mud soaked pitch is hardly a home advantage

    5. Hey guys, we are starting to sounds like those two headed people on the other side of Campbell town. Yeah bendy I would have to agree with you. My personally thought is if the middle is so bad it would affect the rangers than being a home ground advantage as the rangers play through there middle three. ???

    6. Seriously you think that 80% of the ground was in good condition. Wow. Deluded much?

I do see that the new grounds are looking good though, and I hope they are playable for 2013.

Just dont understand how games can still be allowed to play with the disgraceful wicket area.

  6. Yeah united ! Handing out trophies for improving? Ulv struggling no keep best keeper by yards in npl. No Mann best player and no Shaun c either not a good mix.

    2. Surely the excuses arent starting again? Manns own fault for being on to many yellows and yep a keeper can make a difference, but there are 10 other blokes on a field to stop any shots before them...

    3. Ulvies keeper played ok

  8. No excuses from us... If it doesn't have a name on it, it is surely just shit stirring.

Rangers did a fantastic job of hosting the day. Groundsman Donk even used his nervous energy to get the soft roller out at one stage.

The ground made it very hard for both teams to put on a show for the crowd but the contest was red hot all night so congratulations to Rangers.

Anon 22:57. Mum taught me to never believe everything you read in the paper. When Shaun found out Brayden was suspended he came back early from his holidays.

Even though it was a long day with 4 games, the inclusion of the women's game, I thought, added a lot to the day. It is hard to support both the men's and the women's in one weekend when they are on different days but with it all on the one day, it certainly helped boost the morale of both sides. It is something that should be looked into more.

    1. What the hell has happened to Prospect Knights?

Remember Juve blagging on here when they beat them, since then everyone has. Win probably wasnt as big a victory as they first thought.

    2. Tight finish to year again, and like last season, 3 in the chase for the title.

1st place Devonport have Knights, Lonnie and River to play.

2nd place rangers have River, Burnie, City and Somerset to play

3rd place Ulvie have Somerset, Prospect and Lonnie to play

Unlike other seasons cant see Prospect doing Rangers a favour. They have dropped off the ball. So its up to Rangers to win four to win the league as I cant see Port or Ulvie dropping points in their last 3.
