  1. It seems that the V League clubs have all decided to have draws to allow South Hobart an easy premiership LOL

  2. Could be an interesting end to the NPL season with the Sharks to play both Victory League clubs, Devonport and Rangers in their last 2 games of the season. It will be interesting to see which 5 V league players they play in both these games and then in the finals series as it seems there are no minimum match requirements to qualify to play in the finals.

    1. We refused the request to change the venue for this match as that would have meant only 1 home game in the last 6 and only 3 in the last 13 weeks of the roster. Its hard enough keeping supporters coming to matches as it is now. Devonport were understanding of this decision.
      Cheers

  6. If Somerset feel the same way as we do, no one CARES about the V League unless you are directly involved. I wouldn't blame for not changing times or dates. Why would so you could watch some self glorified NPL players run around thinking they are the next A League stars?
Honestly you watch, your beloved club and V League will be no longer at the en o next year due to 2 reasons.
    1. Every club north of Bhagdad will be in financial difficulties and 2. FFT will put some kind of extra fees on top of this years entry fee to try and accumulate the big loss they will have also.

    1. Somerset is very supportive of the Victory League, we hope it runs the 3 years and builds as it goes. We are concerned that the NPL is not disadvantaged by the operation of the Victory League.

    2. This comment is up there as one of the most knob like and uneducated comments this blog has seen.

  7. will be interesting to see how many teams that will be missing key players this Saturday? Great chance for the pack to catch Somerset this week as they have half there players going to watch the mighty MAN U. Will be mostly at best an under18 ressie team taking on Prospect.

    1. Are you serious? Can anyone offically confirm that? Sam? I'm sure that there would be an element of exaggeration in the comment...but who would be missing?

There are always people who love to shoot down others who put themselves out there to make a step up.

So well done Shane on your positive comments about our game (whether it be NPL or V League).
