  1. Sharks v Taroona should be a cracker of a match next week, Taroona have been on fire in Hobart with some great recruits. Sharks will be looking forward to locking horns with ex Burnie boys Hugo and Eli Luttmer and their Sharks ex midfield star young Sam Hamilton. Winner could get a V League team to test them in the next round.

  3. This week will see the new pitch tested at Somerset with Port v Ulvie and Burnie v Somerset in the late game. Both important games to see who qualifies for final.

  4. Yes Nigel it will be interesting to see who plays off for 1 & 2, with Ulverstone virtually booking a spot already. I hear somerset will play a different squad again with guys that didn't play in launceston last week but will defiantly start in their 11 in time to come? Is that true?

  5. Somerset men and women have Laka Cup committments in Hobart on Monday so I doubt that the Sharks will play their full squad on Saturday.
The Sharks beleive they have a chance to test a few teams, but Taroona have just beaten 2 V League teams in recent weeks and will give them a real test, especially given the travel involved.
Besides Devonport have to beat Ulvie first, and I think that one will be a real bust-up, "youngst gun recruit of the year" Snow Compagne will be really keen to serve it up to his last club...lol.
