This week will see the semi finals of the top 4 series. With rain being a major factor in the second half of the season FFT have had to cut short the finals with now just semi finals and a grand final.
Semi final 1
Somerset Sharks v Prospect Knights 2pm Shark Park
Semi final 2
Ulverstone Reds v Devonport Strikers 2pm Ulverstone Show Grounds
Both games being played Saturday.
Post match report later in the week!!!
So what happened to the Knights catch up game against Riverside?
ReplyDeleteFFT shows the Riverside V Prospect games in U18s, NL1 and NPL, as well as the Prospect V UTAS game in the NWPL as forfeited.
DeleteForfeited by who
DeleteKnights from all reports. It seems FFT didn't think that Knights were going to make the finals.
DeleteBit of a disgrace really that a team is forced to forfeit because of poor scheduling and assumptions from FFT.
Shame FFT, Shame.
Whose home game was it?
DeleteRiverside's home game. Scheduled for same day as first week of finals.
DeleteIf there is no game, should riverside be compensated for gate bar canteen etc.
DeleteIt's getting played November long weekend
ReplyDeleteThe point of that is???Early pre season I guess..
ReplyDeleteJust like the finals no prize money no point..
this person must be a ranger, good to see they won nothing this year even when dropping back players didn't help.
Deleteyou would think that fft would play the dev v ulvie on sunday so that dev could have supporters on sat in v cup.
ReplyDeletev cup? like V-league? No one cares!
DeleteGreat comment.... no wonder the blog's not getting as many hits with woeful statements like this.
DeleteWould South Hobart v Beachside and Devonport v Somerset and the 2 winners play off be more intereseting?
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting for the first week....
ReplyDeleteCracker of a day for soccer, should be 2 great matches on the coast this weekend.
ReplyDeleteGo Sharks
