It has previously been used as an alternative when other pitches are unplayable. Burnie United's field is also pretty resilient and has the added benefit of floodlights. Either of these two grounds would enable FFT to be creative and flexible when rescheduling games. I doubt that there was any ground in Launceston that was playable on Saturday afternoon though. It will be interesting to see what happens this weekend as there is more rain forecast for tomorrow. That in certain cercimstances results can be ruled if a team was winning on the day, I.e finals series to be played before other comps. Playing an extra week would put the finals series another week back and by my calculations would have the final would be played the same day as fft dinner.NPL Tasmaniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13625737921832082534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2680702098928192986.post-34546345402684272302013-08-04T20:05:07.528-07:002013-08-04T20:05:07.528-07:00Some years ago if the game was played for 65 minut...Some years ago if the game was played for 65 minutes the result stood unless the rules have changed since.
PCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2680702098928192986.post-59708758398085025732013-08-04T16:47:37.272-07:002013-08-04T16:47:37.272-07:00Same as Windsor Park, but I congratulate the refs ...Same as Windsor Park, but I congratulate the refs for at least trying to play the game too!!!
NPL Tasmaniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13625737921832082534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2680702098928192986.post-26948443785247558572013-08-04T16:35:40.953-07:002013-08-04T16:35:40.953-07:00NTCA pitch was bad by the end of reserves.
