Current Northern Premier League Table and Catch Up Games.

Top Four is sorted, with Riverside needing Somerset to now drop some points to receive the NPL title, in their two remaining catch up games.  Devonport and Rangers are locked into 3rd and 4th spot.
FFT have released the catch up fixtures and dates for the finals:

Somerset Vs Devonport @ Cardigan St Kick off at 2:30pm

If Devonport can grab a win or even a point, then Riverside will be handed the title.  Devonport will remain in third spot regardless of any other results.

Launceston City Vs Ulverstone @ Mitsubishi Park, Kick off at 2:30pm.
Dead rubber for Ulverstone, though City could still move off the foot of the table if they win their remaining three games.

  1. Why have they flipped around the roster?

Those games aren't scheduled as they were suppose to be played in the League fixtures

  2. One would think, just as last year, if Devonport roll the sharks this week they will cancel all other catch up games and allow the finals to start early.
    Wrong but true

  3. Or maybe devonport are going to south hobart this weekend so sharks maybe making the most of this, and got on the front foot and requested the game.

Either way, FFT do as they please.

    2. No I believe it is a Devonport home game according to the info forwarded to me by FFT, and the times are as listed in their document also, so perhaps the VL game may get moved to a later time?

  5. Let me clear the air. Darlene and I agreed to play the catch up game on the 16th, before the missed Devonport game. I was then led to believe that we would play Devonport on the 23rd. However I was later informed that that was not possible and we would play Devonport on the 30th and postpone the final series. In fact I spoke with Rocket to try to sort this weekend out.
I spoke with George about the delay to the finals so I had some idea when we would be playing so our guys could organise themselves, He informed me that he would be sitting down over the weekend to sort all the catch up games and let us know when he had. I like everyone else received an email late on Saturday with the new dates. My only suggestion to George was to cancel the final series and distribute the prize money amongst the top 4 clubs.

  6. Ulvie seniors kick off at 1300, 30 mins after the reserves. Makes things hard for a club that is struggling for numbers
