So the equation is simple for Northern Rangers, win one game and take the title, any less than a win in the next two weeks, and providing Ulverstone win this week, and the title goes to the Ulverstone Show grounds.
Devonport can only hope Rangers and Ulverstone don’t win a game for the remainder of the season for them to take the prize.  If neither Rangers or Ulverstone secure wins this weekend, then the title will come down to the final week again this year.
The fight for the final spot in the finals is on this weekend too, with Prospect travelling to Riverside to fight for the right to defend their honour in the State Championship.  A win will see them go level on points with Riverside, and then it’s down to goal difference with both teams having tricky fixtures in the last round.
The grudge match is on this week with Burnie and Somerset going head to head for the battle of the coast, always a heated and interesting fixture.
Ulverstone will be looking to account for the rejuvenated Launceston United, who would feel they can topple Ulverstone after their success against Devonport last week.  For Ulverstone they must win to have any chance of the top spot at the end of the year, as this is their last game of the Premier League season
City will host Rangers and will no doubt be eager to ensure there are no celebrations at their home bar this weekend other than their own.  City are still a chance to finish in the finals, and this will be front and centre in their mind this weekend.
As a matter of interest, the Reserve title could be decided this weekend too at Launceston City with Rangers 1st playing Launceston City 2nd.  If Rangers win that one, its theirs, if City win, then they will need to win the following week against Prospect to secure it.

    1. No one sent us anything regarding this, I saw it on Walters site, but I guess they didnt want the negative traffic from this site, so opted not to send me the press release? Its not that I dont want to give City the coverage, just dont have time to go searching for stories, this has been for the most part, a fixtures and results blog, with a little bit of other stuff thrown in when time allows.

Im happy to put it up in lights for any club, but the challenge sits with the clubs to let us know what is happening.

would love to provide what Walter and the back post guys do, but I and the other guys just dont have the time sorry. If we get anything on the email, we will stick it up, just a copy and paste so your up to date, but we dont have the time to go chassing stories.
