  1. Knights 8-0 but should have been a draw

  2. I Don't Think So Anon 1:45, Ask Anton or Mark Egan If it should been a draw i think you'll find that knights should've won by double figures

  3. old knights defence keeps a clean sheet again, dont need to be quick just smart!

His comment was a stab at my comments last week. Very, very humourous stuff!

If my side were still in contention with only 3 games to go I'd stop talkng up how good we were. I'm sure Dane and Anton are rapt that anon's keep sprouting off how good they are. That is why you don't put a name on them.

Knights are good enough to win the league for sure and Ulvie could do you a favour or 2 still. Please feel free to tell us how good you are once you've won the league but until then your good season is only what everyone expected from a quality and experienced squad.

  6. Is this site for all of us or is it a Rangers/Ulverstone site. seems if you write anything against either of them you cop it from all sides. well done knights

  7. Nick,

Not sure knights have said anything on how good they are! It seems only you are allowed any tongue in cheak comments.

Please let's us know your rules so we can keep any remarks to what makes you happy!

  8. And so the downward spiral of the blog begins... I'm sure the local game ended once Knights players got their back up that time aswell, no lessons learnt obviously
Keep reporting on whatever you like Nick, there are some that appreciate the effort you make (and Capt Aus, even with your biased rangers opinion)

  9. You'd only have to go back through a few discussions to find some examples. the 'you don't have to be quick, just smart' comment is an example. Had that come from one of the 'old' Knights defenders then fair enough. they are just having a little dig in defence of previous comments made by others about them. With a name on it everyone would appreciate this. coming from anyone else it is talking your team up. Without a name I don't know what to think.

You don't have to say things to keep me happy. Say what you like within reason... I do. Difference being I put a name on it. With a name on your opinions I'd accept them whether I agree or not, but hearing cheek from Anon's is getting a bit old. Yawn

Mate you are delusional it should have been double figure at half time easily. That offside trap launceston play is the biggest loud off rubbish I have ever seen. As a team I can see no chance for improvement playing this style. The defenders are not learning how to mark only how to run forward in a line. They would be better off defending 40 yards from their goal stretching sides and attempting counter attacks which is were their strength lays rather than congesting their attacking half by run all the way to the half way line in search of an offside. They have some talented players down their and should be more competitive than they are.

what rubbish, everyone knows why it ended and nothing to do with a club!

  14. agreed Lonnie are rubbish

  15. I'll second the comments about United's offside trap. If anyone at that club knows anything about soccer they'll make it quite clear to Egan that he changes his style or finds a new hobby for saturday arvos.

I was in disbelief at what I was watching on saturday, there isn't a side in world football that attempts to play like that. While knights may have been caught out 15 times, the 20 that they beat the offside trap made up for it!

  16. South Hobart's loss is good news. As Leigh Matthews famously said to the Lions before their final against the all-conquering Bombers, "If it bleeds, you can kill it!".

  17. Annon 23.58,
At least Nick puts some thought into his comments whether you like what he writes or not. Agreed Annon 00.23, don't read it!
Does anyone know whether South had many out or anything about that match.....there is still hope for fourth.

  18. Hey there Anonymous. Lethal did indeed use that line but it didn't belong to him. The Governator - Arnie Schwarzenegger said that as the character Dutch in the movie 'Predator'.

  19. Knights didn’t close the local game down, we decided to close it because followers could not resist the urge to post defamatory and shameful comments from an anonymous cover, in fact it was those from Knights that were the most outspoken against such comments. Many had ask to keep unmoderated comments open, but it was like putting a 5 year old in a candy store and telling him not to touch anything, and we didn’t have the time to read through 30-50 comments a day.
