  1. Well Done Dev, looked good in the second half, and seemed to Have Glenorchy on ice while I was about, Kenny and Kiren looked in fine form, particularly Kenny. Think if he keeps that form up he will win GD hands down. Well done lads!!!! go the North.

  3. captain aust its good to see with a big game today for rangers against the power house south and one of your senior players sam luck decided to play for OL's football team it's not like he had to play for them to make a final they are on the bottom and get flogged every week good to see him think of him self.

  4. sorry capt aus but i'd probably disagree with that a little. watching the game i thought holmesy shut kenny down well for most of the game and didn't allow him to have much of an impact, won most of the aerial battles but kenny scored a nice goal and i'd agree that devonport dominated the game and deserved the win, mulraney played very well

  5. Were you watching the whole game brayden or talking about yourself for the whole game? I also watched as a neutral and think Mulraney was generally pretty ordinary apart from the goal he finished off. Kenny took the points in his battle with that giant from knights though. They had a close battle all day but when Kenny out jumped him to head in the winner I'd say job done. Shame about Burnies result. Heard there was a big falling out between the officials cocker & decani & cocker went home at half time. Can anyone confirm?

  6. Cocker did not run the line in the second half. The word was that Decani said Cocker was incompetent for not leaving his flag up for an off-side.

  8. disgusting the fact taroona are in the semi and olympia disgraceful all the powerhouses from days gone by have been ruined by the bad competition in both the north and south and lets not start on the officiating

  12. i am sure devonport have been part of the powerhouse teams in the last 10 years>. correct me if i am wrong are they still in the competition. and for mulraney how can anyone comment on his game if they dont know what is job was on the day i am sure the only person who really knows how well he performed would be his coach that gave him his role.and why would anyone question the quality of kenny who i am led to believe has scored in every game he has played this year not bad for an old guy>> and i am sure anyone who saw the game when a striker scores a classic winner (their job) dont think they have had their colours lowered. sound like a devonport fan but no just someone who knows the game.

  13. Basically, this blog sounds like its a cheap snipe page at either the Rangers or Strikers... I can understand though as success brings jealousy. McKenna is the best Captain the club has had and gives his all on every match day, regardless of how much tape he needs to get on the field. He even carried a serious 'arm' injury into the last game..

  14. The Burnie club was fined $200.00 and the player suspended for 3 weeks for ungentenmanly conduct after the game was over.
In the forces desertrion in war time is shoot him if you catch him/her and in peace time long jail sentence.
What would FFT give the linesman for desertion or perhaps!!! the ref for ungentenmanly conduct?
Or is it two different rules and the paid elite can get away with it!
    Come on Mr president>>

  15. Match report from Montello? you were there right Nick? what happened? ref + linesman? game?

  16. I was contemplating a match report for this game but the Burnie goalscorer escaped my mind on Sunday. Also, There wasn't really much to wite about. Taroona worked hard at playing the ball out from the back, whereas Burnie looked for longer options. I don't think much went right for Burnie on the day, hence they lost. Plus, we play them this week and I don't want to offer up too much in case it bites me in the arse next week. Big Elliot at the back for Burnie will be a nightmare for stikers in years to come. He is a big, strong unit. I noticed he had the captain's armband on too.

As far as the refs go I couldn't fill you in much. Cocker was there one half and gone the next. Too busy with Halftime Heroes down the far end.

    NO

  18. I meant I was too busy with Halftime heroes to notice aything happening with the refs. Halftime Heroes is just a name for having a kick at halftime with the lads.

If you understood all that originally and the question still stands... the answer is... Me! I was the hero of half time!

    NO
