  1. I know I'll get shot down and I know there's a long way to go in the season but can you just allow a little self-indulgence on my behalf while I enjoy that ladder?! Ulverstone on top! Played 3 won 3!! I remember those 'glory days' and I hope they are not far away from returning.
Remember though boys the battle lies ahead and you'll have to fight and scrap every inch of the way! Cheers :)

  2. Yes Mitch, I think you have the right to a little enjoyment at the moment. It certainly has been a long time between drinks as I believe I was still around the club during those 'glory days' you speak about. It's quite obvious that Nick has got them working well & it clearly shows you are not a one-man-team since the departure of Brayden. As you would be aware Mitch, it's always a lot harder staying at the top than it is getting there so it will be interesting to see how the young troops handle this extra pressure. Anyway, it's great to finally see a truly competetive league instead of the two-horse race it has usually been in the past.
P.S. I appreciated your previous comments and yes, we have had a few 'heated discussions' over the years, but on the other hand, we have also shared some memorable moments playing on the same team. Cheers & hope to see you saturday when you get your 4th win.

  3. Some big games this week:

Sharks should be too strong for Lonnie
River and Burnie a big encounter a loss and Burnie could be repeating their 2010 start, after such a strong start when they were too good for the reigining champs.

Ulvie a great start but Rangers should be too polished.

Devonport and Knights will go either way, cant pick this draw I reckon.
